The Club is again showcasing railway modelling with a selection of exhibition standard layouts for your enjoyment. Advice on all aspects of the hobby available and who knows, you might even become a member! Entrance £1.

Founded 40 years ago the sailing club is for those who enjoy sailing & racing their small boats from the shore. The boats range from Mirror Dinghies and Toppers to 18 foot performance Catamarans. New Members are always welcome!

Have a look and listen to vintage radio equipment of the 1939 era using a National HRO receiver in its original condition and a Harvey Laboratories transmitter. The station will be live and young visitors will be able to try their hand at sending their names in Morse Code.

TALK AND SLIDE SHOW by MARGARET GILBERT

Sponsored by the East Preston & Kingston Preservation Society. From the Armada, Napoleonic to Second World War, beacons, signal stations and gun batteries protected our shore. The Coastguard had a base here and smuggling incidents are recorded. Kingston’s lost chapel and homes are part of our changing coastline’s history, a well excavated on the beach being the only relic. Tickets £3.00 available from Box Offices, any unsold tickets on the door.

CIRCLE AND INTERNATIONAL FOLK DANCE
Put on your dancing shoes and let us introduce you to a sample mix of non-partner dances accompanied by a wide variety of music from around the world. All dances will be taught and comprise of easy steps and gentle rhythms with a dash of lively dances for the more energetic. Originally opened by the Royal Blind Society as Honeywood House in February 2001,the name was changed to The Bradbury Hotel in April 2007 to recognise the generous funding contribution of the Bradbury Foundation. Come and see the Hotel’s facilities, meet the staff and enjoy cake and tea in the garden, raffle and table sale. All donations for the Eyeless Trust (for families with children with visual impairment).

CROQUET ON THE GREEN
Croquet is the one remaining fully amateur international sport and is still dominated by England. Last year it was England's turn to host the once-every-four-years international between USA, Australia, New Zealand and England, and once again, the English team won - so why not have a go yourself? We will set up a small lawn as part of the Dog Show so come along any time between 1.00 and 4.30 and try it out, tuition and equipment provided, £2.00 per session. This year THE CLOCKHOUSE BAR & WINE SHOP will again be serving Pimms and Locally Brewed Bottled Ales, to enjoy whilst watching the Festival Novelty Dog Show or after trying you hand at Croquet on the Green. Pimms and Beer for over 18s only.

Traditional Cream Teas will be served by PRESTONS all afternoon with freshly brewed tea, homemade scones, fresh cream and strawberry jam.
